Amirkabir University of Technology News Students of the Textile Engineering Faculty visiting the Nikatex factory and signing a memorandum of understanding for the Co-op project

Students from the Textile Engineering Department of Amirkabir University of Technology visited the Nikatex factory, and on the sidelines of this scientific and industrial visit, the co-op plan agreement was signed.
According to the public relations of Amirkabir University of Technology, Engineer Majid Ranjbar, CEO of Nikatex factory and graduate of master's degree of the Faculty of Textile Engineering of Amirkabir University of Technology, while explaining the establishment of the factory, the growth path and the efforts made, stated one of the main challenges as the lack of skilled workforce and asked the students to increase their skills by actively participating in internship and co-op courses along with their studies.
He emphasized: There are many capacities in the textile industry to attract young engineers.
This graduate of the Faculty of Textile Engineering added: In this factory, three units of circular knitting, dyeing, and finishing are operating and about 160 people are working in this complex.
In this visit, a memorandum of understanding for the co-op project was signed and Nikatex factory also joined the group of cooperating companies in this project at Amirkabir University of Technology.
In this visit, a group of undergraduate students along with Dr. Asayesh, professor of circular knitting processes course, Dr. Yousefzadeh, director of industry relations and specialized innovation center and Engineer Shokrooy, instructor of circular knitting processes workshop were present.
It is worth mentioning: This visit took place on November 16, 2023 with the coordination of the Office of Industry Relations and Innovation Center of the Faculty of Textile Engineering of Amirkabir University of Technology and the support of Nikatex Company.
