"Fundamentals of Polymerization Engineering" by the Exemplary National Professor at Amirkabir University of Technology Earns the Title of Top University Book

The 6-volume set, "Fundamentals of Polymerization Engineering," authored by Dr. Vahid Haddadi Asl, a faculty member of Amirkabir University of Technology, was honored as the selected university book in the fourth round by the Cultural Association of Publishers.According to the public relations department of Amirkabir University of Technology, Dr. Vahid Haddadi-Asl, a distinguished professor at the Faculty of Polymer Engineering, provided an explanation about the 6-volume series "Fundamentals of Polymer Engineering" and said: "This series is about the basics of polymer engineering. When I joined Amirkabir University of Technology in 1996, I translated a book called 'Polymer Chemistry.' Then I started writing my own scientific achievements and so far I have published about twenty books, among which I started writing a series of books that if someone has no knowledge of polymer materials and intends to establish a unit, they can have a series of books at their disposal."
He further explained: For this reason, in this 6-volume book, the first volume is in two sections, which is about polymer technology, general knowledge about the application of polymers, the use of polymer materials, and familiarity with these materials, even the history of polymers is mentioned in this book.
The professor at Amirkabir University of Technology emphasized: The first volume is dedicated to introducing the industry and general culture to polymer materials. The second volume is for undergraduate studies, the third volume is for master's degree, and the fourth volume is also written for doctoral studies.
He emphasized: The fifth volume of the book is also written due to the novelty of the nanotechnology and nanopolymers discussion. This volume has achieved the first rank in the university as the top book in the past two years.
This faculty member of Amirkabir University of Technology continued: These books are about 4400 pages that I wrote and typed myself. In fact, these books are a compilation because over 60% of the references are my own. For this reason, in the publishers' association, it is considered as a selected book in the technical and engineering field and one of the best-selling books in the polymer industry in Iran.
Dr. Haddadi-Asl further emphasized: The first volume of the book has 4 sections, 33 chapters, and 1760 pages, the second volume has 500 pages and 5 chapters, the third volume has 14 chapters and 882 pages, the fourth volume has 13 chapters and 526 pages, and the fifth volume is also written in 20 chapters and 726 pages.
It should be noted that: The first volume (the first and second sections in one volume and the third and fourth sections in another volume) is titled Polymer Technologies, the second volume is titled Polymerization Reactions, the third volume is Polymerization Methods, the fourth volume is Polymerization Reactor Design, and finally the fifth volume is also authored with the title of Nanopolymers and Polymer Nanocomposites, which has been selected and appreciated by the Publishers' Cultural Association as a selected book.
Additionally, in the past, the book received recognition as the outstanding publication of Amirkabir University of Technology, acknowledged by the university's president.
