Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Amirkabir University of Technology and MAPNA Company

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Amirkabir University of Technology and MAPNA Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the aim of developing scientific, research and executive cooperation and strengthening the relationship between industry and university, facilitating the transfer of knowledge and technology, and supporting innovative and applied research and projects.
This MoU was signed during a ceremony by Dr. Manouchehr Salehi, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Amir Abdollah, Vice President of Research and Technology of MAPNA Company. This MoU focuses on cooperation in three areas: Modern Composites Technology, Additive Manufacturing Technology, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology, and business development in these fields, and has been developed to create added value for both parties. Other provisions of this MoU include the following:
- Acceptance of faculty members of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in MAPNA Group’s industrial study opportunities.
- Defining joint research projects in order to solve MAPNA's strategic issues and in line with the specializations of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
- Supporting internships for postgraduate students.
- Holding joint workshops, seminars, and meetings in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to transfer successful experiences from industry to the university.
- Inviting MAPNA experts as guest speakers at the meetings of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to share knowledge and specialized experiences.
- Supporting the innovation infrastructure of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
- Financial support for the development of innovation and research infrastructure and equipment of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
- Holding industrial visits
