In this unit, how to cut metals, the quality of the shaved surface, and the accuracy of different parts of the machine tool can be studied.Also, the effect of turning variables of cutting depth, advancement, and cutting speed on turning efficiency, cut surface quality, and tool life is determined by determining the forces due to chips using a bridging device (dynamometer).
